This blog comes by way of an update and hello to any regular readers – any of you out there? – in the very strange conditions we’ve all been enduring since the start of Spring. Who could have predicted that 2020 would turn out as it has? We’re enormously grateful that we’ve been able to find ways to continue providing services to our customers, and that our great team are all back together. Though we had a period of quiet activity through April, Andrew was in his rope and harness and no emergency works went untended. Huge thanks to Tom and Terry who stayed on for the three weeks of our enforced lockdown to support him and ensure that we could continue to work safely. So here we are in September, six months into the new normal and predictably, the natural world stops for nothing – a useful touchstone to acknowledge and hold onto in the face of the continued uncertainty as we move through recovery. The September stormy weather brought by storms Ellen and Francis had us juggling our planned work schedule and responding flexibly to our customer’s needs. Best laid plans, eh?
If the last six months have taught us anything, it’s not safe to assume we can stick rigidly to anything very much, and that we all have to find ways to go with the flow, whilst holding on very firmly to our good customer service and health and safety practices. We very much hope that you’ve found ways to enjoy your outside space and the enormous positive, magical power of the natural world over the last few months. If you’d like a quote for works to your trees and shrubs, please call Andrew on 01256 817369, 07771 883061 or email him at Andrew@primarytreesurgeons.co.uk
