There has been something magical about Spring blossom this year, and no doubt you have been out and about enjoying it too.
We found out way back to Sulham Woods near Tilehurst in Reading, a small but well established patch of mixed woodland that one of our team spent hours paying in as a kid. The bluebells seemed particularly thick on the ground this year, and when we took this picture, were contrasting spectacularly with vibrant lime green of the new Beech leaves.
Nearer to home, the cow parsley has created a frothy, lacey understory to the trees in the woodland near our yard, and the whole place looks enchanting.
Though some species of tree shouldn’t be pruned at this time of year, many can be worked on, and we can advise what’s possible, and how to minimise any potential damage to the tree if you don’t want to wait until Autumn.
