These mature trees had become very large, were substantially overhanging and shading the properties beneath. The team undertook a fairly significant crown reduction which will probably be repeated on a c. 5 – 7 year cycle. This course of action has allowed the owners to keep all the many, many benefits of having the trees in the wider environment but reduced the negative impact and possible risks of over-large and unmanaged trees close to their property and others in the residential area.
